They can't help themselves, it's in their very nature. Socialism has never worked anywhere and yet that is the path they wish to take. Reminds me of Einstein's definition of insanity: Do the same thing over and over again while expecting a different outcome. Raise taxes and kill the economy. Lower taxes and the economy succeeds with vigor until the next tax raise and then kill the economy. But in all fairness we have the government we deserve. They are after all elected.
