He supports a policy of nonintervention. There is a difference. However, it goes beyond that, inasmuch as Congress has abdicated a number of their Constitutional responsibilities and ceded them to the executive branch. Ron is one who believes in, and votes on issues as they relate to the Constitution. He is a principled, and honest Congressman who follows the Constitution.I don't study him or read about him or follow his campaign for that reason alone. I would suggest that perhaps you should, so you understand the logic, and thought process behind his stance on various issues. Consequently, you may have more appreciation for his position relative to those issues. At the very least, you could then say I have read about his positions and I don't agree. I rationalize the upcoming election by reducing it to its simplest terms. Ask yourself if you are satisfied with the prevailing politics and the direction of the country over the last 35 years or so? Has our foreign policy really worked? Do you have a belief that many of your personal liberties are being eroded? Do you feel government should have more control over your life and more of your money in their pocket? Immigration policy is satisfactory and borders are secure enough, etc.? If the answers are yes, vote for any of the Democratic or Republican candidates other than Paul, because they are basically all the same and will continue down the same path of dysfunctional government. If the answer is no, then go here: ronpaullibrary.org and educate yourself as to why Ron Paul consistently votes the way he does, separating himself from the rest of the candidates, and has the track record to prove it.
