Do goody intent is win-win. Mary, I find your position terrifying. If enough adopt that POV, my grand-children's - and theirs - posterity is in most serious jeopardy. Given the experience of the past century, I find it baffling that decent people anywhere still buy in to that nonsense. Look around; the regions with the greatest freedom from the do-gooders are where prosperity and civility are at their highest levels. The explanations of why are pretty complex, and quite contrary to what at first seems like common sense. Our incredible material standing is in spite of, not because of, prior interventions with the spontaneous development of our extended orders.
