They step you down from 21mg to 14mg and then 7mg. At 7mg they will then have me go to zero. My doc said that if a person makes it to 7mg they usually don't experience a major withdrawal. But I'm concerned about the very thing you mentioned. There are several pills my doctor likes but they can cause seizures. Since I had epilepsy as a kid its a major risk to take them so we're just going to do it the regular way. I'm not big on medications anyhow because I think they really only serve as a mask. I think this is a willpower thing and if it hurts - good! It will serve as a constant reminder why I quit and why there's no going back. Some pain is good in this case
