Yes, I've got a friend that is going through the same thing. He's never been married but he's been in two long term relationships that have ended badly. The only kids that were involved were the girlfriends. He said he didn't want to date someone else with kids because you had to break up with them as well. My advise to him was don't limit yourself like that. If you do, that right someone might be there but you'll never know it because you won't even give them a chance.
