They are less common, but I think supermarkets are more likely to have one than not to have one.

OTOH if the decline continues that might not be true for much longer.

Other than supermarkets, most places don't seem to have them anymore, but a lot of businesses will let you make a call. I don't currently have a cell phone, but usually I don't have a problem getting a business to let me use there phone (at least if I tell them it will be a short local call)
