I agree we've witnessed a change in life cycles- but I don't begin to know what it means for government- except as it relates to GDP calculations and inflation. I do understand how hyperspeed technological changes have caused some pretty strange dimples in the reality of those two economic gauges- but I only understand that because I read some articles on it. It would not have occurred to me on my own.

Now that most of the "paperwork" is done electronically, the average time between claim and payment is a couple of weeks instead of a few months.
Yeah. They can bankrupt us faster.
