Yes, Max Weber, one of the greaest minds of all time and the architect of modern social theory. I retired from state government and it was the hardest and most stressful work I ever did. And I have done it all! When I was state Director of Emergency Medical Services I once worked for a month with pneumonia because I had developing programs all over the state and I was the only one who knew the particulars. Our legislature used to cut programs without kowing about them and often it would require one person to do two peoples work. financial officers had the worst of it. I saw many people broken by the unreasonable workloads.
