I know a guy who has a line on 1000's of acres of oil shale. Which is neither oil nor shale. But he don't know what to do about it.

The trick is to get it out of the rock cheaply. There are several suggested ways.

I have a hankering to try one low energy method, which was suggested by one company for the oil sands, which are just a loose aggregate hydrocarb variation on oil shale.

The best way to extract energy from the sun and vitamin d3 in the process, is to wear a bathing suit all the time. In the arctic it gets tricky.

Which brings us to a question. Where did the Eskimo get his vitamin D3? And the other northern people?
