I think I've heard they might be carrying 50-60 pounds, but don't know if that included the heavy vest as well. Whatever it is, 35-40 or 40-60, its a LOT of weight, especially to go 12 miles in 3 hours! 4 miles an hour....1 mile every 15 minutes....consistently. With at least an equivalent weight of one large 50-60 pound bag of dog food on their back. Awesome, in every sense. On another subject, I'm just totally peeved at the Dems...totally tying the hands of our Military to do the job that needs to be done right, so that we can get out.
