Conservatives are the law and order fetishists - not liberals.

Law and order is black and white to Conservatives and the usual call is to hang them high - unless the law concerns one of their own then its all kind of grey.

Just like the hardest charging Republican "moralists" are often the kinkiest at the same time.

There is a weird unreality to Conservatism. So often it is Conservatives who try to control in others what they can't control in themselves.
