That night i went to my room and for some reason i pulled back the covers far enough before sitting down on the bed to change. When pulling back the covers i found a large nest of red ants on the sheets. However, it still bothered me to find the ants in the other bed so i looked further by checking out the pillow and inside between pillow and cover, another nest of ants.

i called the front desk and they immediately came out and gave me and another cabin and checked it out completely. i slept very well and was early for breakfast around 6am. Going through the main building lobby i noticed the people behind the reception talking and pointing towards me. I asked one of the workers after breakfast what the excitement was about and he said your room was full of fire ants and had you fallen asleep on those beds you wouldn't be here this morning. Still in a fog with many other things on my mind i took in stride as a topic of conversation at the next cocktail party or posting on git
