i admitted to a Big Mac today

waiting until you cook a gourmet meal to post is in strict violation of the thread rules

lets hear it....

Fair enough....
I will try and justify my crappy menu with a revelation of sorts; that being my recent relocation to a new residence. My rationalization is the reliable "empty fridge" scenario, currently in full effect.

I started the day with a very healthy serving of approximately week old onion rings, which have been staring at me from eye level from the highest rung of what appears to be a very spacious (empty) refrigerator. These rings found their way into my house after a meal on the go; I think is was day number two of the move. Normally, they would have never made it out of the restaurant, but as you know, when there is nothing at home, food fragments seem much more important than they actually are, lest one be forced to go to an actual supermarket....especially when most cooking supplies are still packed in one of countless, unidentified boxes. What the hell, it's only been a week, right? After annihilating the ring-like lumps for a few minutes in the microwave (ostensibly,to kill any grease ebola critters they might contain), I slithered them down the pipe without ceremony. To say that they were the least bit satisfying would be a bold-faced lie. They were nothing more than hints of onion byproduct, as the tremendous amount of grease they still contained vaporized any hint of onion DNA they still may have contained. This did, however, make it possible for me to immediately get out to poolside, removing any hint of appetite (pretty grossed out at this point) and allowed me to shirk my responsibility, not least of which was food shopping.
After burning myself to a crispy red consistency (couldn't find the sunblock...should have used the onion rings), I decided to get with the program and get to some overdue errands.
It was at this time that I managed into Boston Market to eat the only actual nutrition (pot pie) of the day, even if it has more fat than I would care to know...
The rest of the day whizzed by, filled only with a giant cola Slurpee from 7-11 (I stopped there for gas....honest), and a blob of Baskin Robbins ice cream and medium coffee from Dunkin' Donuts. NO DONUT!!
After running around all day, I got home and realized I still didn't have any food in the house, so I ate a small container of gummy bears (brought over by my girlfriend the other day) and a Sam Adams that escaped detection previously. For dessert I smoked a fat Monte Cristo on the balcony. I pretty sure I had some water in there somewhere.....

You might now understand why I immediately realized that I am starving at the moment, and finding your food discussion at this late hour hasn't helped much.

I will certainly do better tomorrow....I honestly am disgusted with myself at the moment. I'm the first to complain that I am not in the shape I really want to be in.....I wonder why that is.
