I had come up with a motto, "Not every time you eat has to be fun."
I like the motto, as I adopt a similar attitude when I am just eating for me.
When I am on target, I generally try to eat for function rather than for "pleasure" and reserve the latter for my Sunday "Cheat day." This allows you to keep your sanity by reserving sa day to eat those things that you might crave during the week.

****As a side note***

I just got back from seeing Michael Moore's "Sicko"
I have to say, it is a must see for conscientious individuals. What a powerful film. Even outside the political/business ramifications, it makes you want to stay healthy as long as possible, lest you fall victim to the current medical system. Wow.
