Those writers do love to scare people. The nuclear camel's nose is under the tent and some disasters are certain at some point. But if it was that easy to obtain, make and transport nukes, they would have done it already. The technology has been around for 25 years and in Muslim hands for well over a decade. But, heck, I think a UPS truck driver, sent to a cave in Pakistan carrying a huge lead suitcase, might get suspicious.
