That 25 per hour with bonus would now be $44.25. That was 1987.

The $8.95 hourly wage was 1977. That would be $29.77 today.

Sounds about right.

When graduating from music and basket-weaving school we made between 1500 and 1900 a month as technicians. Today that would be between $5,000 and $6320.

We are not meeting the mark. In 1958 a mercedes benz 190D cost $3,800. Today that would be $27,020.00

1960 190D -- Equivalent to an E Class Today - Also Known as the W120


I think you would be hard pressed to come up with a decent Mercedes for that price today.

A class B can he had for about 31.4K. But an E class would set you back about 65K and an S, about 120K.
