Lazarus Long was a character in several of Heinlein's books and stories. This authoritarian impostor would be disowned by Heinlein.

Among many other books and short stories by The Master. He was awarded the first Grand Master Nebula Award. Lazarus Long seemed to be his favorite protagonist. As the Master got older, he became increasingly hippyish. And sexual. I would think "Stranger in a Strange Land" would be perfectly obvious to you. It fits you so well. You don't grok it? Strange. You don't see the connections to another widely believed tale?

Just ignore Chrissypoo. Either the Master or Lazarus would slap him down, then kick him in the kidneys to make sure he stayed there. Both believed in self defense and defense of their homeland. See "Starship Troopers". Or "The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress".
