i doubt it goes to trial. two guys are serving 10 years in jail for being convicted of trying to assassinate this man for running away.

i don't think they did that, but sutton believed the known liar drug runner over two basically independent agents that both said they saw a weapon.

look at it this way. ramos heard a barrage of shots. he pursued, saw a guy aim a weapon at him, fired one shot, hit the guy where you'd expect to hit him if he were aiming as ramos said he was aiming and landed a decade in jail.

sutton has been spinning lies left and right (let's be honest, hiding the truth by telling partial truths *is* lying).

the drug runner will get out of jail for his second million dollar marijuana run, he'll make a couple million and he'll probably end up living high on the hog and wasting the money - all for running drugs and, very likely, pointing a weapon (or some object) at the border guards.

this isn't about ramos and compean, though.

this is *all* about pointing out to border agents that they will do long time if they don't stand down on bush's border.

congress is having hearings today - hopefully, sutton can't weasel out of the truth while under oath. i also hope this isn't just a dog and pony show.
