You told him what he thinks. I don't think he has to defend a position you made up for him. Do you?

If I said "So you think that the sun revolves around the moon", and then said "You cannot defend your position" if you laughed at me, wouldn't you think that was a little silly?

I thought he was making up something for you "if that is your desire" the way you made up something for him.
