"I think you really need to separate the fringe of the left from the left."

You are right but i marched against the vietnam war with guys who shouted ho, ho ho chi minh, the vietcong are going to win. I was mortified but i felt so strongly about the war that i continued to march. I do think that there are a few posters out there who, though not rooting for al quaeda, are so invested in their hatred of bush that they wish him to be humbled even more in any way possible. And then there are the conspiracy theory guys re: 9/11 and the anti-semites who view everything in light of that hatred.

I think you really need to separate the fringe of the left from the left

I think the Democratic party needs to the fringe of the left from the left. But with Michael Moore in places of honor at the convention, and the "Netroots" driving the party, and Senators like Biden claiming they were lied to because Bush told them the same stuff than Clinton had and everybody believed it, it's getting harder and harder to find the point of separation. The nutroots have gone mainstream.

I don't hear many people on the left saying we are the bad guys.

Did you hear Rosie O'Donnell? She said 9/11 was an inside job. She said it on-air with no apparent fear of being branded a lunatic. It must be commonly said in her circles.

Isn't she on the left? Doesn't that make us the bad guys in a big way? Kill 3000 of our own citizens, then go invade some innocent ME country?

Nahoul the Bee Replaces Farfour and Vows to Continue on His Path of Martyrdom and Jihad
MEMRI ^ | 7/13/2007

memritv.org

Following are excerpts from a Hamas TV children's show, featuring Nahoul the Bee, which aired on Al-Aqsa TV on July 13, 2007:

Saraa, child host: Who are you, and where did you come from?

Nahoul the Bee: I am Nahoul.

Saraa: Nahoul who?

Nahoul: I'm Nahoul, Farfour's cousin.

Saraa: What do you want?

Nahoul: I want to continue the path of my cousin Farfour.

Saraa: How do you want to do this?

Nahoul: I want to be in every episode with you on the Pioneers of Tomorrow show, just like Farfour. I want to continue in the path of Farfour – the path of Islam, of heroism, of martyrdom, and of the mujahideen. Me and my friends will follow in the footsteps of Farfour. We will take revenge upon the enemies of Allah, the killer of the prophets and of the innocent children, until we liberate Al-Aqsa from their impurity. We place our trust in Allah.

Saraa: Welcome, Nahoul...
