"Almost certainly"? On what do you base that? The only thing that really changes is the payer, and how would Medicare get worse?

And single payer would 100% certainly provide better care for many people... those with no insurance right now.

The above premise in your post is by no means a certainty. In fact, from what I understand, just the opposite........Sicko shows that a national health plan can be more effective for less money than the way health care is set up in this country.
