Wiki had it a while back, but it can be flakey. Powell is coy about his politics though. I did find this story.

Colin Powell will endorse 'best person,' which might not be a Republican

Asked point-blank whether it's certain he will endorse the Republican candidate for president in 2008, former Bush administration secretary of state Colin Powell just said no.

"I'm going to support the best person I can find," he told NBC-TV's Tim Russert on Meet the Press, after being asked whether that will be a Republican. He repeated that answer when Russert asked the same question again.

It's also too early to know who that person will be, said Powell, who confirmed that he has been sought out for advice by Democratic candidate Sen. Barack Obama.

"I've met with senator Obama twice," said Powell. "I know everyone who is running for office. I make myself available to whoever wishes to chat with me."

Powell said that while he continues to have no interest in running for office, he would not rule out returning to public service in a future administration.

Later today, Sen. John McCain is due on ABC-TV's This Week With George Stephanopoulos and CNN's Late Edition With Wolf Blitzer has two presidential candidates as guests -- Democratic Gov. Bill Richardson of New Mexico and Republican Mike Huckabee, former governor of Arkansas.
