The political will in the military, congress, most campaign donors, and a large slice of the media is AGAINST attacking Iran.

Even a significant part of neo-con / PNAC / AIPAC crowd doesn't want to move on Iran right now, possibly for tactical reasons.
The neo-cons want to keep "pressure" on Iran so they can get the best deal on Iraq.

Pushing another war would affect the neo-cons future political survival, and some of the more realistic neo-cons know this.

There's an amazing idea, realistic neo-cons....

Also, they will need a boogey man for the future, especially if Kim Jong Il shuts down the reactor.

This can change in a few months.
