Regardless of 2-state or 3-state, I'll bet u a buck that Saudi involvement and approval is mandatory.

Because.....

A) The Gaza leadership will not act without Saudi approval?

B) The Israelis will not negotiate with the Gaza leadership without Saudi approval?

C) The Saudi so called royal family is in control of Mecca, and therefore, uhmm, uh, something?

D) If the Saudis oppose Gazan independence, they will refuse to fund the Gazan economy, and there is no other source of funds on the planet?

Gazan independence is an issue between Gaza and Israel primarily, and the UN secondarily. Why in the world do you think that if the leadership of Gaza and Israel agreed on some independence plan, the UN approved the plan, and the Saudis objected to the plan, that the plan would be impossible?
