Really fun piece, but it was hardly just the facts. His descriptions were very pointed and often insulting, albeit clever and entertaining. He wrote for his OWN audience. Still, we can read far RW comments just like the ones he heard on the Bush threads, so we know he didn't make those up. A very upscale meeting of Extreme RW minds who, insulated among their own, felt free to say anything without censoring. A giant echo chamber. I bet if the LW had a cruise and Mark Steyn snuck on, you would get a witty report just as extreme about the LW agenda and what they say "in private". Lots of conspiracy beliefs and tail wagging dog accusations. Maybe instead of carrying flaming desserts around on the final night as is traditional, they would carry a burning Bush in effigy. The masks and control that keep any of us from behaving badly aren't terribly strong.
