You might try this one:

SWEET & SOUR PORK CHOPS

6 pork chops, cooked
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
2 tbsp. oil
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 garlic clove, minced
3/4 c. water or stock
1/3 c. chili sauce
3 tbsp. vinegar
1 1/2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. soy sauce

Combine everything and pour over chops. Cover and simmer gently about 30 minutes. Does well in a crock pot.

I like to saute garlic with fresh ginger and then would add the above. If sugar is a concern, there is a Splenda version of brown sugar.

The recipe is fairly insensitive to changes in quantities so if you like onion like I do, then double or triple the amount of onion in it.

And if it is too watery, just add a tablespoon of corn starch blended with 1/2 cup water! (Cook until thickened, of course.)
