All that stops in 1947-48 when the arab states attacked the UN mandated new state of israel. After 1948 its ok again to take land in conquest. Except in 67. Dont you get it, Nadine?

Similar results for Japan and all its territories. Nothing has been returned that I know of. Japan is still arguing over the Kuril Islands, to no effect.

Japan is a bad example. We won, and returned Okinawa and Iwo Jima. The Russians weren't so nice and kept the Sakhalin islands. I don't know what other Japanese territories you are referring to. Japan annexed Korea in 1905 and kindly gave it back in 1945, but it was hardly part of traditional Japan which can be defined as the islands that were closed to the rest of the world for ~280 years until 1870 or so.
