What serious problems did the Clinton boom mask? That the rich weren't making enough money? No one cared as long as everyone was "making money." Too bad not everyone knew that the only ones who made money were those who sold and locked in their profits. More people went off welfare than at any other time in the history of this country. That alone made it the best decade since WW II. Why then is there little optimism in the country? Terrorism. Before 9/11, ignorance was bliss. LOL.
