These numbers are so huge they begin to be meaningless. Maybe that's why people seem to basically ignore them? Thank goodness ginormous is now a word- we can just say "the debt is ginormous" and go about our lives.

ps-The SI spell check needs to get with the times.

So under Bush we have racked up an additional 3 trillion in debt -- quite a remarkable thing to do in just a few years.
