How the Obama campaign reported these names I have no idea. The bottom line is that the campaign should have a record of each person who purchased on line.

What I do question is the premise that you posed that each bumper sticker sale represents 1 voter--------as pointed out in my message one person may buy 1 bumper sticker or one voter may buy numerous.

As noted in the New York Times article-----from the campaign---

"As for the Obama merchandise, sold mainly through the campaign’s Web site, Mr. Plouffe said it had brought it several hundred thousand dollars. “It has been a real source of revenue for us,” he said. “And obviously you still get people wearing your hats and displaying your bumper stickers.”

Tickets and merchandise sales have added at least tens of thousands of names to Mr. Obama’s donor rolls. Mr. Obama also attracted crowds of 20,000 in Austin, Tex., and Atlanta and 10,000 in Cleveland and Los Angeles, with similarly brisk sales in Obama gear at each of them."

Obviously, you and I disagree on the war on terrorism. So be it.

The fact is this war is here to stay for many years to come. Just pray that the next attack will not be on your home. I don't have the time to list all of the terrorist attacks throughout the world-----over the past 20 years or so. You can google those for yourself.
