Speaking of the '20s, here's a chart I've been meaning to build for a while.

90% leverage in the stock market

We have 500 trillion plus in derivatives no? Will they regulate this before it all goes boom?

If the banking system can be re-engineered with the right checks and balances - perhaps a return to honest money will not be necessary to appease fiat haters. My economics professor in college really hated the gubbment - everyday he would tell us it was just a bunch of middlemen extracting rent to transfer money from the rich to the poor - he was rich and I was poor at the time so I didn't get along with that economics professor - hehe. (I often use to joke with him how I was going to enjoy the free food and housing and entertainment his taxes helped give to me - he got mad one day and told me to quit being such a bum and get a job) Later when I got a little wealth I went back to him and told him I now shared his views - I hated all those damn taxes I had to pay - haha!
