Unfortunately the Pals don't have any other parties, since they have a well established tradition (found over 70 years ago by the Mufti) of declaring moderates to be collaborators and shooting them.

Moderation and negotiation are simply not an option for the Palestinians. As a result, the conflict cannot be solved peacefully. Unfortunately for them, the balance of power, the ultimate calculation, simply does not suggest a resolution in their favor. I suppose they don't care so long as some futile gestures are part of the action.

I don't hate Palestinians; I pity them. They are more caught in the cycle of eternal victimhood than anybody else. They are just pawns in the game, those that are stuck in Gaza especially.

My feelings exactly.

I would only add that they are also caught in the cycle of hate as well victimhood. The combination is deadly not only to their neighbors but to them.

I also think that the Palestinian diaspora has had a lot to do with current conditions. The best and the brightest naturally are gone, seeking better opportunities elsewhere. What is left is what we see.

I ask again, where is the Pal peace party? Where are the moderates? Were there ever any?

I agree wrt to a party. There are of course individuals. But yes, my point and your point is essentially the same here. A Pal Ghandi would have solved the thing long ago, but partly because this would have forced modified Israeli behavior.
