You have to trust someone....or else you end up all alone in the world.

I do not think any small nation can stand happily alone unless its natural borders make invasion impossible.

the swiss did it because they could close the alpine passes that were vital for the movement of troops and equipment......other example are mostly island states or places very remote.

Enough racism out of you. The USA is proof that all people, regardless of religion or ethinicity, can live together as equals. Resisting that trend is a losing proposition. Choose your side, I'll sit on the side of ethnic equality, and over the long term win.
