Bush and Cheney are destroying the Republican Party and most Republicans don't even realize it. A few Senators like Snowe in Maine have heard the footsteps. The others are in for a big surprise.

Under Bush and Cheney, the executive branch was split. Cheney declared himself not a part of the executive branch of government. Hey what branch of the government does the office of the vice president fall under? It's clear that under Bush and Cheney, the power of the presidency has increased. Anyone, even American citizens, can be declared a terrorist and then shipped out to foreign prisons and tortured. It's also clear that anyone who opposes Bush in an effective manner will be dealt with severely. Witness the Plame outing. Control of the media, congress and the armed forces has led to total control of the government by the executive branch (and the newly declared independent office of the vice president). The only thing better than a dictatorship is a demockracy run amok, where total control is masked by a shell of the constitutional government envisioned by the founding fathers. Blue suits, alligator shoes, and a chinese made US flag lapel pin is not the uniform of democracy. Meanwhile Americans get fatter, dumber and deeper in debt, while the banksters run the show from behind the curtain sucking the vitality out of this nation and the world. How much longer will the good people stand by and be silent? Thinking people that believe in the work started by the founding fathers must support the impeachment of Bush and Cheney now.
