Cool spoon. I'll have to remember that if/when the time comes and it probably does for most of us.

My home has extra insulation (the last thing I did before signing the contract with the builder was to ask what he would do to improve the home if he were going to live in it - he said to spend another $800 for thicker insulation which we agreed to and it has paid for itself many times over. The extra cost was to change the 2x4 wall studs for 2x6s for the thicker insulation.) which is why the smaller A/C cools an area of 900 sq ft. And of course the trees shade the house also. Some of the A/C calculators take all those things into account.
