KT, I can't imagine myself having enough time to take on a project/hobby like that. I don't trust the Bible and other historic documents to be accurate or representative enough of Jesus's teachings to be secure about anything. I doubly don't trust the scholarly research and interpretations of them. There were and still are too many agendas over and above all the holes in the documentation. To me, regardless of what you believe about Him (I'm agnostic), there's an underlying theme that's pretty easy to understand and apply to life that works well. Most of us can sense right/wrong, moral/immoral, good/evil etc... without being given a set of rules. When it's grey, sometimes we don't all initially agree, but I think eventually we do figure it out. Sometimes it just takes centuries. ;-)
