I've pointed out to Nadine in our discussions how I believe it could be done. In a nutshell, reinstate pre '67 borders forming an independent Palestinian state comprising of the WB and Gaza. Already offered to Arafat and refused. Arafat demanded the "right of return" - the return of 5 million Pals to Israel proper, not Palestine. Hamas says point blank they don't want it but might offer a temporary truce if Israel withdrew to the Green Line. The new Palestinian state must formally recognize the legitimacy of its neighbor and halt all terrorist activities Arafat agreed to all that in 1993. How many times can you sell the same promise?
