The focus of tension between Israel and its Arab neighbors is the Palestinian conflict. My contention is remove the focus of tension and the goal of stability becomes easier. This stability obviously is crucial to our national interest otherwise why are we over there getting killed, spending billions of $$$ per week and ruining our international goodwill?

That's it.....ok. I'm not inferring anything else.....
