That is one of the advantages of working out of the home.......no traffic. ;) And I sure do try to avoid the highways and freeways. Going to Portland is a nightmare any more. Where have they all come from? I guess that old adage......build it and they will come applies.

I (and the hundreds of neighbors around me) live approx 1.5 miles from the core of town. You know........the place I go to for life's necessities like groceries, fuel, dry cleaners, movie house, cop station, city hall, pizza joint, tavern, bank, doctor, hardware store, vet, office supply, pharmacy, restaurants etc. A case could be made for allowing golf cart type vehicles on the roads as an alternative, fuel saving mode of transportation.

Don't know if you got a chance to read this article LB posted the other day, but I'm thinking Woolsey has a very good idea.
