No, D, I don't want you to get in trouble! Sorry about that. <g> I have no great confidence that these special powers will not be abused and expanded beyond their original intended purpose, as RICO has, and that innocent American citizens are going to suffer the forfeiture of their assets and destruction of their lives without benefit of trial or hearing. As the trained seals running the government can't manage to maintain something as simple as an accurate "No fly" list, why would I choose to believe that they can manage to be accurate this one time, or that the acts or conspiracy alleged actually exists? Who says so? Some low level functionary in the Treasury Department? There is no oversight, period.

Maybe you are comfortable with secret courts being convened to consider cases involving American citizens with no one involved being allowed to even say what they are being charged with before, during or after the trial, even if acquitted or the charges being dropped, or the FBI's ability to issue thousands of subpoenas per day without some sort of judicial review. I'm not.
