If you think that single payer will reduce costs. I don't, at least not without sacrificing quality.

And even if it will reduce costs it doesn't address the issue. A one off decrease won't change the other factors that are causing a continual increase, and moving to a single payer system that takes up a larger and larger part of GDP will seem a step closer to Marxism.
