re: the Dow is up because of boom conditions in the rest of the world, not the US. Actually the Dow is up because corporate profits are up, a lot. And corporate profits are up because labor costs are flat or down in comparison to revenues. Same with tax revenues; they are up because of corporate profits. Bottom line is that workers are not participating in the growth. The current young folks are the first in a long time that will be poorer than their parents... at the same level of work and experience.
