What percentage of lawyers are honest?

I don't think many lawyers are dishonest. However, I think many are clever and know how to manipulate the law to their advantage. There is a difference between being clever and dishonest.

"What percentage of lawyers are honest? Change that, and my trust in lawyers may go up."

Why on Earth would you want to trust in lawyers or politicians? Better to keep your eye on both of them.

And what does either have to do with the issue of a small percentage of docs being responsible for most of the costs of malpractice?

"There's a reason why doctors are generally more respected in society than lawyers and politicians."

For one, the AMA does excellent PR. And TV has always loved them because it simplifies the writing task. But, "Marcus Welby" was only a TV show.

No one gets my respect without earning it. There are lots of good docs out there. But "most" doesn't mean "all".

But, I guess you operate differently.

Moore has said nothing against doctors, either here in America or anywhere else. Strawman?

You seem to think doctors are allied with the insurance companies. My doctor and I, when I HAD insurance, were allied AGAINST the insurance companies! We'd collude to concoct strategies of treatment that they'd HAVE to cover.

But then, you're AFRAID to see the movie!

What percentage of politicians are corrupt? Change that, and my trust in politicians may go up.

My wife is a lawyer. I've met hundreds, and I can't think of one that is dishonest. When they are, of course they make headlines, unlike a reg citizen. When a lawyer is after you because you have been dishonest, then it's a royal pain. And most folks have been through that and don't like it.

BTW, most politicians ARE lawyers.
