Hmmm, one of the things that attracted me to move to Las Cruces, N.M. is the DAILY temperature extremes. I cant speak for the winter, but in the summer its 30 degrees cooler at night then daytime. In fact, it doesnt really warm up in Las Cruces till about 10am in the summer. I like cool nights for sleeping purposes, and cool mornings for doing my outside work. Hope I am not killing myself. jdn

i doubt you are getting 60 degree cool air into the house. it may pick up 10 degrees from the outside unit through the fan and by the time it comes out your vents.

you could check by putting a thermometer over the vent.
