Thanks for that information James. I'm going to switch between Costco and Chevron from now on + throw in a bottle of Techron in once in awhile just to make sure.

I want to get the longest life out of my engine as possible, and am willing to do what it takes to do so.

I helped my Dad rebuild an engine once, and did a report on disc brakes for Driver's Ed in High School..........got an A+.......but other than that I don't know much about cars.

Always glad to learn.

Thanks, James, I will do as you say!
CW loves that car, so I will care for it lovingly and hope he gets tired of NYC.

do you know where costco gets it gasoline from.? who is the national supplier.

cheapo stations i can agree you may not get more additive than federal mandates. However, i would think Costco goes out to bid to a number of suppliers and depending on supply situation, it could a first tier supplier. often commercial accounts are used in the industry to balance demand in various parts of the country or it could be tied into lubricant sales.
