A very major distinction is shahid's die trying to murder others and Christian martyrs aren't trying to kill anyone.

There are lots of differences but that doesn't mean they're not both martyrs. There were a lot of differences between Churchill and Jack the Ripper, too, but they were both English-speaking men. To argue that they shouldn't be referred to as either English-speaking or men because one was a patriot and the other a murder is way too binary.
