What about Israel making reparation payments to the Palestinians that were chased out.
Can you imagine if Germany still had not made reparation payments to the jews?

Len > The solution for Palestinians is the Palestinian state.

Problem is no one knows where it is because Israel keeps "occupying" (= stealing) the Palestinian land and there are no boundaries either to Israel or to "Palestine".

> Israel is not part of the solution

Except that it has "occupied" (= stolen) most of the Palestinian land.

> put another way, there can be no “right of return,” a central canon for Palestinians since the war of Israel’s foundation in 1948

Put another way, that means any land Israel has "occupied" (= stolen) since 1948 it keeps.

> Territorial compromise for peace had no place in the family lexicon. It was the weak talk of the peaceniks.

Exactly -- when Israel talks peace it means war. The two-state solution is simply a tactic to appease peaceniks. There is absolutely no possibility of it ever being achieved.
