First - congratulations! Nothing rivals the feeling of having a child.

Everything you said is how I feel too. I think the guy is guilty and if he's found guilty that should be the end of his NFL career. I'm sick of this gangsta shit in the NFL. The league is getting filled with dirtbags and I have no time for it. The NFL doesn't just need to make an example of 1 or 2 guys! They need to boot EVERYONE who gets in trouble over serious violence charges. I think the new commissioner is serious about the issue and I'm glad to see it

This week’s federal indictment of NFL superstar Michael Vick, complete with stomach-turning allegations, has brought this blood sport to the front pages, but it’s really nothing new: organized fighting has been around as long as domesticated dogs. (Vick, who has not pled in the case, is scheduled to appear in court on July 26.) Dog fighting is illegal in all 50 states and a felony in every one but Idaho and Wyoming... Vick has long been a favorite son of Falcons owner Arthur Blank...
Perhaps more important, is Arthur Blank. Blank, who has been a highly regarded NFL owner, has reportedly been out of the country and hasn’t commented publicly since the indictment of his star player. And while some may view the Vick case as a test of the owner’s loyalty, it would seem to be a test of other principles as well. The NFL, not to mention Blank’s Home Depot empire, are posited as mainstream American businesses. And there is not a remotely mainstream note in this sordid affair... Its time the NFL know that its fans won't tolerate their players being coddled and held above the standards of justice the rest of us would get if caught committing the same crimes.

Arthur Blank, owner of the Atlanta Falcons NFL team is a co-founder of The Home Depot. He may be retired from the company but you can be sure that he still has a good income from them. The Home Depot , with a revenue of over $90 billion a year is in a position to make a difference.

If Vick is allowed to suit up and play a game (a GAME people) that tens of thousands of people watch, including children, what kind of message does that send? The best ways to send the message that we don't condone this behavior in our society is to boycott the NFL and The Home Depot and to contact them both and let them know that you are boycotting them and why. Go to NFL.com and homedepot.com to tell them what you think about animal cruelty and what you think they can do to help the situation.

HOME DEPOT IS AN NFL ADVERTISER AND ALTHOUGH NOT DIRECTLY AFFILIATED WITH ARTHUR BLANK DOES HAVE INFLUENCE WITH THE NFL. SUGGEST THAT THEY POSTPONE THEIR ADVERTISING UNTIL THE NFL SUSPENDS VICK WITHOUT PAY UNTIL HIS TRIAL
