I'm trying to convince myself that what I did was within the rules and ok. I didn't realize how hard I hit him until I noticed he had been knocked out of one of his shoes.

Can I be honest though - DAMN IT FELT GOOD! I LOVE SPORTS!

Robert,

I played 16 inch softball. I didn't even realize that people played 12 inch softball until I was well into my teens. As I got older I played a lot of first base. When you play in a league, you always start the game with a new ball, which is anything but "mush" for the first couple of innings. My hands just went numb at the thought.
