I've had a cellphone for about ten years that just lives in it's charger - I never use it. It was state of the art when I bought it, a flip-phone that I could easily carry in my pocket. It's about as big as an egg closed - kind of porky now. I got a plan that's unavailable now, I just pay for the calls I don't make, no monthly fee, so my bill is zero. I take it with me when I go on trips. I had a friend demo his iPhone to me yesterday. It's cute, but I wouldn't use it either.
